Kramfors School is centrally located in Kramfors, close to both bus and train stations. The school is an institution for grades 4–6 with approximately 300 students. Within the unit, there is also an adapted primary school for grades 1–9 and after-school care.

The school is now seeking a teacher in textile handicrafts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher in textile handicrafts, you will:

• Create safe, creative, and structured learning environments within textile handicrafts.
• Provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge about the materials, techniques, and processes of handicrafts.
• Plan and implement teaching in accordance with the school's governing documents, curriculum, and national goals.
• Design teaching that promotes knowledge development, safety, and study focus.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with class teachers, work teams, and student health to create a holistic approach to students' learning, development, and well-being. An important part of the assignment is to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians to create a shared understanding and continuity in the student's development.

You also contribute to the school's joint development work and actively participate in systematic quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Teaching certification with relevant subject competence
• Good collaborative skills, strong sense of responsibility, and a solution-focused approach.
• Very good ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians
• Ability to work from a low-arousal approach, where you can safely, structurally, and professionally meet students in various situations.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language and the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
