We are now looking for a System Developer Level 4 - (Design System & Web Components) for our client. We are seeking an experienced System Developer for a consulting assignment focused on the further development and management of the authority's design system. The assignment is an important part of the client's work to create accessible, modern, and sustainable digital services.

About the assignment The assignment involves managing and further developing the client’s design system with a focus on accessibility, quality, and scalability. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the business where you contribute to establishing effective working methods for development and needs collection.

You will:

Develop platform-independent components such as web components. Ensure that components comply with the DOS law and WCAG 2.1 AA. Document component libraries in Storybook and distribute via npm. Work with modern frontend frameworks and CMS solutions. Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, and presentations. Contribute to knowledge transfer at the end of the assignment.

MUST requirements

System Developer Level 4 (8–12 years of experience) • The consultant must have at least two years of documented experience in developing and managing design systems with component libraries of web components in a public authority according to the law on accessibility to digital public services that meets WCAG 2.1 AA. • The consultant must have at least five years of experience as a front-end developer with Vue.js, Angular, and Typescript as well as SCSS, CSS, and HTML. • The consultant must have at least two years of experience as a developer in .Net, C#, Javascript, vue.js with Optimizely/EPiServer CMS in projects with high demands on digital accessibility according to WCAG 2.1 AA. • The consultant must have at least five years of experience working with interaction-oriented UX and UI design of web services. • The consultant must have at least two years of documented experience in developing web components in Stencil and documenting the components in Storybook. • The consultant must have completed training in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE). • The consultant must have at least two years of documented experience in configuration and development with mono-repo in Nx. • The consultant must have experience in holding presentations, leading workshops, and gathering requirements. • The consultant must have at least five years of experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. • The consultant must be fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. • The consultant's CV must be in Swedish and submitted in Word format.

The consultant must have a valid Visual Studio license and be able to provide the license key if needed.

Other information Location: Borlänge. Work model: Hybrid, remote work up to 40%. Assignment period: 2026-06-01 - 2027-05-31, Extension 6 + 6 months until 2028-05-31.
