VDT (Healthcare-oriented Digital Services) is part of Digitalization, IT, and Medical Technology (DIM). Together with Healthcare IT, we form the VIST administration, where we are responsible for the operation, management, and development of the region's healthcare IT systems, including our main electronic health record system, Cosmic. Today, we are a team with high competence, strong cohesion, and a culture of mutual support. We are currently in an intensive and developmental phase following the implementation of Cosmic – and here, testing and quality assurance play a crucial role.

In this role, you will:

• Have overall responsibility for testing and quality assurance related to Cosmic.
• Combine test management with independent, operational testing work, coordinating both technical tests as well as business and acceptance tests in close collaboration with IT, business units, and suppliers.
• Be a key person in the entire chain from change, via testing, to release, with a coordinating responsibility for release coordination.
• Take a leading role in building a long-term testing function and contribute to shaping future ways of working for testing and quality assurance within the administration.

You will essentially be the person who holds the whole together – and ensures that it actually works in practice.

The work includes, among other things:

• Review release content with the team, analyze, and plan relevant testing activities.
• Plan, lead, and coordinate testing activities with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that relevant test cases exist, are updated in the test tool, and create new test cases if necessary.
• Create test data and order test data in the relevant test environment when needed.
• Conduct tests and support colleagues in testing work.
• Create relevant test reports with recommendations prior to production deployment and report results to relevant parties.
• Coordinate release activities and ensure that necessary preparations for production deployment are completed.
• Participate in release processes and collaborate with suppliers as needed.
• Contribute to the development of testing strategy and working methods.
• Collaborate with object specialists, IT, business units, and external parties.

You will have many contact points and play a central role in how we approach testing and quality moving forward.

Education and Experience

• Several years of experience in testing as a test manager and tester of IT systems.
• Experience in test planning involving multiple stakeholders.

Meritorious:

• Relevant higher education or university degree, for example in systems science, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.
• Experience in requirements management.
• Experience from healthcare operations, system administration, or other operations with similar requirements for quality, structure, and collaboration.
• Experience with electronic health record systems or healthcare information systems.
• Experience in large organizations or complex system environments.
• Experience using ReQtest.
