Experienced Staffing Assistant for the Orthopedic Clinic at Danderyd Hospital!

Our staffing assistant is moving to sunny Spain, and we are now looking for an experienced staffing assistant for one of our inpatient departments.

You will play an important role in our efforts to ensure the right staffing and the right competence for all our shifts.

Job Description

As a staffing assistant, you have an important role in our organization where you, together with the unit manager and the deputy unit manager, are responsible for the daily and long-term staffing of the department. You, along with the managers, are responsible for scheduling based on the requirements of the operation, patient safety, and work environment. Together, you, the unit manager, and the deputy unit manager work jointly on both operational and strategic staffing issues.

Within the clinic, you work closely with the staffing assistant in the other inpatient department with a clear division of tasks and a holistic view.

Your tasks include, among other things: receiving sick notifications, covering sick leave, registering deviations and postings in the schedule. You will work in our personnel administrative systems Heroma and Medlo/Bemlo.

You are responsible for scheduling and training schedules for all newly hired staff, students, and trainees. The work is largely independent with support from managers. You have close contact with newly hired staff and temporary workers for planning practical details, schedules during training and vacation periods. For employed staff, you are available for questions regarding leave, work time models, and scheduling. You are the expert in the current personnel management systems and introduce and ensure that employees independently manage and work within these.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with documented training in the Heroma system and at least 1-2 years of documented experience as a staffing assistant.

To succeed in this role, you have a strong interest in staffing and scheduling, enjoy working independently, and have the ability to think and work both short-term and long-term. You balance different types of considerations and show judgment in statements, actions, and decisions. Furthermore, you are attentive, outgoing, structured, and have an easy time communicating in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

Personal Qualities

You are positive, social, communicative, and have an easy time collaborating. We see that you are flexible and willing to take on challenges. Since the work sometimes involves a high workload, it is important that you can prioritize easily. At certain times, the work will be more intense before calming down, so you need to have a good ability to work at varying paces. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and spoken. We place great importance on personal suitability.

About the Operation

The Orthopedic area at Danderyd Hospital is a 24/7 operation with over 300 employees. We provide both acute and elective care and meet patients at our orthopedic outpatient clinic, at the orthopedic section in the hospital's emergency department, and at our two orthopedic inpatient departments.

We operate in the central operating room with our own surgical staff and also conduct day orthopedic surgical activities. Our operation also includes a comprehensive paramedical section.
