We are now looking for a Finance Assistant for our client in Solna. Our client is a large company in the grocery retail sector, and in this role, you will be part of their Settlement Department, which is a wonderful team with financial expertise.

The position of Finance Assistant involves ensuring that the company's logistics partners are paid correctly for services rendered in accordance with agreed contracts, as well as ensuring good control over the Transport Department's finances. Your tasks will also include preparing and ensuring billing documentation, managing administration within existing tools and systems, administering and following up on financial transactions, and working with KPI monitoring and continuous improvements within the work area. Your main tasks will include:

• Preparing billing documentation on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Performing control, release, and matching of billing documentation and invoices
• Acting on quality and cost deviations
• Ongoing collaboration with carriers
• Controlling and analyzing compliance with entered agreements
• Supporting the team during monthly and annual closing
• Contributing to highlighting improvement suggestions that promote development

The position starts part-time on May 4 and transitions to full-time during June-July, possibly also August. There may be a possibility for part-time work in the fall. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during office hours. You will be employed as a consultant through us at StudentConsulting but will work at our client's office in Solna.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Studying university/college education focused on finance or equivalent
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Meritorious with education/experience in customs handling and experience with and good understanding of the transport planning process
• Advantageous with experience in SAP, advanced Excel skills, and a logistical understanding
