Within the County Radiology Department, approximately 160 employees work in categories such as nursing assistants, radiographers, nurses, biomedical analysts, administrators, medical secretaries, and doctors. The radiology services are provided at the region's three radiology clinics in Sollefteå, Sundsvall/Härnösand, and Örnsköldsvik. The department operates around the clock and conducts approximately 135,000 radiological examinations per year across modalities including conventional radiography, computed tomography, MRI, fluoroscopy, intervention, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound.

We are now looking for a care controller for LVH Radiology where you can work at any radiology clinic within Region Västernorrland, that is, Sollefteå, Sundsvall/Härnösand, or Örnsköldsvik.

The position is a permanent full-time employment, starting on 2026-05-01 or as agreed.

In your role as a care controller within the County Radiology Department, you will develop and monitor operations in accordance with the department's overall goals. You report directly to the department manager and are part of the management team for the County Radiology Department along with unit managers, county administrator HR, and economic support. Your responsibilities include both production and capacity planning as well as operational development.

Examples of job responsibilities include:

• You will be involved in implementing improvement initiatives and following up on their results. You will identify and analyze patient flows and make resource utilization visible.
• You will assist the department manager and unit managers with analysis and planning of the department's production based on patient needs and the department's capacity.
• You will make data accessible and provide actionable analyses for decision-making while ensuring data quality based on reliability and comparability.
• You will collaborate with various professions and maintain the same improvement initiatives.
• You will support the department manager in financial monitoring and investment planning.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a relevant university degree or other education/experience deemed relevant by the department.
• Has good experience working with data, statistics, and digital tools.
• Has work experience in analysis and improvement work, preferably within healthcare or the public sector.
• Has excellent knowledge of the Swedish language.

It is advantageous if you

• Have previous experience from similar roles or experience in healthcare work, particularly in radiology.
• Have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.
