Your New Workplace
At Sundsvall Energi, we are driven by the goal that our operations – electricity, district heating, district cooling, energy services, and recycling – should be beneficial for both people and the environment, while also contributing to the continued development of the Sundsvall region.
As the local alternative in the energy market, we are characterized by courage, a holistic view, and openness in our relationships.
Our main production of district heating and electricity takes place at Korstaverket, while at Blåberget we handle waste for material and energy recovery as well as landfill. Sundsvall Energi is owned by Sundsvall Municipality and is part of Stadsbacken AB, with approximately 126 employees and a turnover of around 700 million SEK. Throughout our operations, we work for sustainable development in Sundsvall and place great emphasis on a gender-equal and drug-free workplace.
The HR department currently consists of a team that works closely with the business and supports managers and employees throughout the organization. The focus is on competence supply, work environment, cultural development, and ensuring modern and legally secure HR processes. The team includes an HR and communications manager, two HR employees, two communicators, and an HSE Specialist.
Sundsvall Energi is now looking for an HR Generalist summer intern with the opportunity to work part-time during spring and autumn.
Your Contribution as an HR Generalist
As an HR Generalist with us, you will have a varied and developing role where you work broadly and operationally within several areas of HR. You will be a close support to the business throughout the HR chain and actively contribute to developing and improving structures, processes, and working methods that strengthen the organization.
An important part of the assignment is to contribute to the work with the EU's pay transparency directive. This means that you will participate in wage mapping and wage analyses and be involved in developing, quality assuring, and implementing transparent and legally secure pay processes.
Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in HR, human resources, behavioral science, or equivalent, or you are a student in the field and will graduate no later than spring/autumn.
- Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good digital competence.
- Driving license B.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Previous relevant administrative experience, preferably within HR.
- We would like you to have experience working with wage mapping and/or wage analysis.
- Experience with payroll systems, work environment systems, or HR systems.
To thrive in the role, you are self-driven, flexible, secure, and have a good ability to take significant personal responsibility and drive work forward with limited support. You are proactive, action-oriented, and easily build relationships and quickly grasp new issues, as the focus will be on contributing to a stable, forward-looking, and development-oriented team and HR work.
You also have good analytical skills, are structured, and can translate insights into operational and well-founded solutions. At the same time, you are pedagogical and communicative, and can clearly explain regulations and processes so that they become understandable and usable.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
