About the job

You will work with investigations of VAT issues and request information via phone, mail, and digital mailboxes from companies. You will analyze, assess documentation, and make decisions. The cases can vary in scope and complexity. You will also work with ongoing reconciliations of VAT declarations, which are simpler and quicker cases. Additionally, you will have customer meetings over the phone with both individuals and companies.

The work is conducted both independently and in collaboration with others. You will also contribute to our work on continuous improvements in everyday life and choose effective solutions. You think innovatively, dare, and act. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You will belong to the corporate taxation unit 2 in the corporate taxation department, located in Örnsköldsvik. The unit currently has offices in nine locations and has a total of about 160 employees distributed across eight sections.

About you

You should also have:

  • a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics
  • current and relevant work experience with investigations of VAT issues within a government agency.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience from the Swedish Tax Agency.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period.

Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in a security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
