The regional collaboration and support structure of the social services is the county's shared resource for the development of a knowledge-based social service and enhanced competence supply within social services. The regional collaboration and support structures primarily operate at the county level for cohesive collaboration and development to benefit the operations of social services.

The adult development area includes three of six prioritized development areas within the county's joint initiatives in collaboration. These areas are harmful use/dependency, mental health, and financial assistance. The development work aims to support municipalities in developing knowledge-based operations and cohesive, easily accessible interventions for the county's citizens.

The development assignments and processes in the area are coordinated by a development coordinator who works through and supports the professional networks that exist locally and at the county level.

The coordinator participates in and monitors developments in the national networks that exist in the areas. Of course, the coordinator participates based on their expertise in the overarching assignments that the Association of Local Authorities carries out on behalf of the municipalities' social services. The position involves some travel.

The tasks include contributing to the Association's overarching operational goals by, among other things:

· coordinating the development work in the networks that exist within the areas at the Association of Local Authorities in Västernorrland

· participating in national networks and working groups within the areas

· monitoring the external environment within the areas

· incorporating a knowledge-based approach and scientific support into the prioritized development processes, such as the transition to a new social services act

· assisting with process support and operational knowledge in development processes in the regional and local work.

Qualifications:

You are a social worker or behavioral scientist with many years of experience in municipal social services and its operations for adult citizens within authority exercise.

You are well-oriented in social services' interventions for adult citizens and which partners are needed to create cohesive, individual-based interventions.

You have experience leading and successfully driving development work within social services.

You are proficient in the Office suite, digital meeting formats, and presentations.

Meritorious:

Further academic studies in relevant subject areas, experience and/or education within national development initiatives/method development that have taken place in various areas aimed at adults are meritorious.

Experience from leadership functions is also meritorious.

Personal qualities:

You have the ability to lead and drive work processes independently, structured, and in collaboration with others.

You have the capacity to absorb large amounts of information and summarize relevance for other actors.

You are analytical and can think strategically from a holistic perspective.

You can also listen in and adapt the implementation based on the context and contribute to fruitful work processes together with other actors.

You are highly skilled in expressing yourself in speech and writing, with experience in presenting.
