The Individual and Labor Market Administration (IAF) consists of Individual and Family Care, labor market, and adult education.

The administration is divided into four operational areas, and within the area of Work and Support, we are now looking for a coordinator. The other operational areas are Children, Youth, and Family, Substance Abuse and Mental Health, and Adult Education. In Work and Support, we focus on providing the residents we assist with the support they need to become self-sufficient through work or studies. One of our strengths is working together in cross-professional teams around our participants. Our staff needs to collaborate closely to succeed in our shared mission. Through our collaboration platform, the Labor Market Square, we also work closely with staff from the Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, and Region Västernorrland. The target group we work with is job seekers from 16 years to retirement age. Many of those we meet today struggle with neuropsychiatric, mental, and/or physical disabilities, inadequate schooling, the need for language development, or other challenges that may require support to become self-sufficient. As the demands on the regular labor market increase, the needs of our target group for support also become more extensive, and we at Work and Support have an important role to fill. We create conditions by allowing the target group to gain the necessary work experience required to get a foot in the labor market and work with labor market employment and other initiatives.

You will belong to the Employment Team that works with labor market measures. The group consists of a coordinator, labor market administrators, business coordinators, and a labor market coordinator.

Your contribution as a coordinator

As a coordinator, you have a central role in coordinating the work with labor market employment within Komijobb in close collaboration with employment consultants at the Labor Market Square. You provide operational support to the Employment Team and drive development work and processes together with the unit manager. The assignment includes collaboration with the Employment Service and Social Services, planning supervisor training, and building and maintaining networks with employers, trade unions, and other stakeholders. You are also responsible for follow-up, reporting, and statistics. You work closely with unit managers and other coordinators in operational development, strengthen internal and external collaboration, and act as the representative of the operation when needed. Together with the unit manager, you ensure quality, clear processes, and appropriate routines. We are looking for someone who is structured, relationship-building, and drives the work forward in collaboration with others. You share our strong belief in every individual's ability to change and have a good sense of hospitality in all collaborations. You are attentive, solution-focused, and confident in yourself. You adapt easily to different situations, work long-term, and are persistent in your assignment. As a coordinator, you will have varied and developing tasks and become part of a successful team characterized by engagement and competence.

Your qualifications and experience

Academic degree, at least 180 credits that the employer deems relevant for the assignment, such as behavioral science, social science, pedagogy, or social work. Motivational interviewing, leadership training, or other coaching education is advantageous. You have good knowledge and experience in labor market issues and experience with the target group. Previous experience in leadership, supervision, inter-agency collaboration, and trade unions is also advantageous. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
