About the job

The job involves you, as a Population Registration Officer, registering, investigating, and making decisions in various population registration matters. You will request additional information via phone and mail in contact with individuals and other authorities.

Your tasks in this role involve handling requests for the release of public documents. You will process a large number of cases, but there may also be more qualified cases where an assessment needs to be made based on applicable laws and regulations. Requests for release come from public actors and the general public. You will provide information from the Swedish Tax Agency's operational systems and conduct confidentiality assessments.

The content, breadth, and complexity of the work are determined based on the needs of the organization. You plan your own workday and drive your cases both independently and in collaboration with others. You work closely with your colleagues, providing and receiving support from one another. The job involves many contacts, for example with customers and other authorities. You have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.

You belong to the Population and Property Department and work in Population Registration Unit 5. Your placement is in Sollefteå. In our three sections dealing with population registration matters, we are about 50 employees.

You should also have:

• a high school diploma
• current and relevant work experience in administrative tasks
• good computer skills and system understanding.

It is desirable that you have current and relevant experience in legally regulated tasks or relevant theoretical knowledge in law.

Good to know

The employment is permanent and may start with a six-month probationary period. Start as soon as possible.
