Personnel Controller at the Prosecution Authority

The Personnel Department has about 50 employees and consists of three units: the Training Center, the Personnel Unit, and the Negotiation Unit. The position is placed in the Negotiation Unit, which currently employs five people. The unit is led by the Deputy Personnel Director, who is also the Head of Negotiations.

Your Responsibilities

As a Personnel Controller, you will work alongside our existing Personnel Controllers in the Negotiation Unit, the Personnel Department's employees and management, as well as with the Finance Department and other departments at the headquarters. Your main task is to support the work with salary revisions, including statistics and calculation materials. As a Personnel Controller, you will also support the Personnel Director and the Deputy Personnel Director with calculations and investigations in central issues regarding negotiations, salary formation, and personnel statistics.

Your responsibilities include:

• preparing materials and making calculations for the annual salary revision work
• providing personnel and salary statistics
• analyzing and evaluating personnel key figures and statistics
• participating in the personnel policy development work.

Your working method is service-oriented and consultative towards the needs of the organization, as well as strategically guided by the Prosecution Authority's common plans and guidelines.

Your Qualities and Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree as a statistician, economist, or another academic education that the employer deems equivalent
• several years of well-regarded relevant experience in preparing, compiling, analyzing, and presenting statistical analyses and materials
• good knowledge of analytical work within the personnel area such as personnel key figures, salary revisions, and salary formation
• very good IT skills, particularly strong proficiency in Excel, as well as other IT systems relevant to the field
• good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• the ability to translate statistics and investigations into written reports with high linguistic quality.

It is advantageous to have:

• experience working with statistical programs such as SAS, SPSS, or equivalent
• experience with QlikView or similar tools
• experience working with analyses in public sector operations.
