Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Stockholm is flourishing as the country's leading growth region. We work for a labor market where everyone can find their place – where employers find the right skills and where people get a chance to enter or return to the labor market. We support the journey of Stockholmers towards work or studies through labor market initiatives and adult education.
This is Jobbtorg Stockholm
Jobbtorg Stockholm is a department within the labor market administration of the City of Stockholm that works with labor market initiatives.
We provide support to young people and adults who are outside the labor market – through conversations, coaching, collaboration, and educational pathways. We have about 500 employees working at 24 units across the city.

The film about Jobbtorg Stockholm
Welcome to the unit Focus Future Adults – a part of Jobbtorg Stockholm
Focus Future Adults is a unit within Jobbtorg Stockholm. The unit includes Krami, which is a collaboration between the City of Stockholm, the Prison and Probation Service, and the Public Employment Service, as well as a Joint Authority Team (MGT) where collaboration takes place between the Public Employment Service, the Social Insurance Agency, the healthcare of Region Stockholm, and the City of Stockholm's Jobbtorg and social services.
Within the unit, there is also a team of five job coaches, together with two study and career counselors, working with job-seeking homeless Stockholmers who are moving towards work or studies and self-sufficiency. This position specifically involves working with homeless individuals. Within the unit, we have a close collaboration with each other, share knowledge, and support each other in everyday life.
I, the recruiting manager, am Ulla Johansson. It is important to me to have employees who take responsibility, are involved in developing the unit's work, and enjoy and have fun at work. In our unit, you will receive present and trusting leadership with a clear focus so that the Stockholmers we meet receive the support and assistance they are entitled to. The unit's competent employees have a forward-looking focus, and we combine seriousness with warmth and laughter.
Our mission
This position involves working with homeless and job-seeking individuals aged 20 - 66 years. These individuals have different backgrounds, experiences, and circumstances, are outside the labor market, and often need parallel interventions together with various care units or other actors. We work with the method Supported Employment (SE) where we support participants to develop and find, obtain, and retain a job or studies. Change and development work is a natural part of the workday and requires you to be actively involved in this.
Where we are
The operations are primarily based in the office in Hammarby Sjöstad, but we meet participants throughout the city in our premises, at employers, or other partners.
A day with us
A day might start with a coaching conversation with a participant, followed by a conversation or meeting with a social worker or probation officer. Then you might have a meeting with an employer interested in receiving and mentoring a person for an internship. At the end of the day, you document what has happened in our operational system VERA.
We offer
- A secure employment within the City of Stockholm
- Wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK/year
- Collegial learning and good development opportunities
- Opportunity to exchange vacation

You meet participants and employers out in the field and travel daily within Stockholm.
