Do you want to combine business-oriented IT controlling with the opportunity to build structure, create transparency, and eventually shape a more defined controller role? Coor is now looking for an IT Business Controller for a central and visible role in the organization.

About the Role

As an IT Business Controller at Coor, you will work closely with IT management and the business, focusing on monitoring, analysis, and business support related to IT costs and investments. The role entails clear ownership of IT controlling at Coor, where you have the mandate to take responsibility for structure, transparency, and the development of working methods. You are expected to be an active participant in shaping how IT economics are monitored, analyzed, and used as decision support within the organization. The role is independent, central, and visible, with great trust from both IT management and the business, and occurs in close collaboration with the CIO, IT managers, group controllers, and business-driven units.

Role Under Development: The role begins with a clear focus on building and structuring. During the initial period, with emphasis in 2026, you will work more operationally and administratively than in a traditional controller role. The aim is to create order, document, and streamline working methods that are currently individually structured, in order to subsequently develop more sustainable and scalable processes over time.

For the right person, this means an opportunity to set the structure yourself and shape the role in the long term.

Initial Focus in the Role:

During the first phase, you will work with:

  • Structuring and documenting administrative financial processes related to IT

  • Internal invoicing and cost allocation

  • Certain operational handling of ongoing financial tasks, such as simpler aspects of ongoing accounting, with support from clear instructions and existing accounting competence.

  • Review and improvement of working methods and flows

The goal is for these parts to gradually be transferred to other functions.

Long-term Content of the Role:

Once the structure is in place, the role will gradually evolve into a more defined IT Business Controller role, focusing on:

  • Financial monitoring, analysis, and reporting of IT costs

  • Budgeting and forecasting for the IT organization

  • Monitoring of IT investments and larger initiatives

  • Cost optimization and development of charge-out models

  • Business-oriented support and decision-making material for IT management and the business

We are looking for someone who

  • Has approximately 3–5 years of experience as an IT Controller or Business Controller

  • Has experience in IT-related controlling and understands what drives IT costs

  • Has good experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

  • Has worked with internal pricing or cost allocation models

  • Has basic accounting understanding (balance sheet and income statement, account classes, and financial flows)

  • Enjoys structuring, improving, and streamlining processes

You do not need to be independent in year-end closing, but should be comfortable working closely with accounting and administrative flows.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is business-oriented, analytical, and solution-oriented, with a strong curiosity and drive to understand the connections behind the numbers. You are communicative and pedagogical, with the ability to explain financial reasoning clearly even to non-economists. You thrive in dialogue with the business, are relationship-building and visible in collaboration, as well as comfortable in presentations and confident in constructively challenging senior stakeholders.
