About our job openings

We are now looking for medical secretaries for SÄS this summer. In this role, you will be part of the team around the patient in patient-centered care and will be responsible for tasks such as receiving patients.

The summer position extends from week 23 to week 35, and to best plan and execute our summer positions, we value that you can work eight consecutive weeks during this period.

Possible tasks include:

• Diagnosis classification, diagnosis and KVÅ registrations
• Post and referral handling
• Cashier
• Quality registers
• IT support
• Administrative support to the unit

Your profile

We are looking for someone who is a qualified medical secretary or medical care administrator, alternatively has completed the first year of vocational training for medical care administrators or is finished with the 5th semester of the medical program by June 2026. You have good language skills in Swedish, good IT knowledge, are service-oriented, positive, and interested in being the administrative support for the operation. It is advantageous if you can work eight weeks during our summer period, preferably weeks 25 to 32. You are used to taking your own initiatives and are responsible, able to organize your work independently, and have the ability to work in a team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To provide our patients with good and safe care, it is important that our employees have good language skills and the ability to communicate in Swedish.

Other

If you have experience or preferences for any operational area, you can indicate this in your application, and we will try to accommodate this, but it is primarily the needs of the operation that will guide the placement. Care at the hospital is provided around the clock, which means you may work days, evenings, and weekends.

For employment in emergency care, pediatrics, psychiatry, and imaging and functional medicine, we require a background check.
