We are looking for a certified teacher in wood and metal crafts for Frödingskolan.

We have about 290 students in grades 4-9. Our students come from various cultural backgrounds, which creates a dynamic learning environment and a wonderful atmosphere. Our teachers equip our students by being engaged and creative to provide them with the best conditions for good self-esteem and belief in themselves, ensuring that everyone can reach their goals.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will teach wood and metal crafts for grades 4-9. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching, as well as grading and assessing students' work.

Through collaboration with your subject colleagues, you will develop the craft subject at the school. You will work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to create the best conditions for our students. You will be part of a work team that meets regularly to co-plan and develop the school's activities. Mentorship is included in the position. Part of the role also involves teaching in our adapted primary school.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified and qualified teacher in wood and metal crafts. Previous experience in wood and metal crafts is considered an asset. As a person, you are a clear leader who organizes your work to create a safe learning environment for the students. You are creative, attentive, and structured, and you have the ability to meet students based on their individual needs. You thrive in close collaboration with others and see collegial learning as a natural starting point for your own development.
