Responsibilities

As an educator with us, you will teach students in various higher vocational education programs, primarily with a technical focus, but also in other areas. The courses focus on professional communication, both in Swedish and English, and aim to provide students with practical skills they can directly use in their future careers.

The position includes teaching in:

• technical and professional communication in Swedish and English
• reading, understanding, and writing technical instructions and reports
• delivering oral presentations
• industry-specific terminology and technical vocabulary in English and the importance of language in daily professional work
• source management, report structure, and documentation

The position also involves assessing eligibility and admission tests, as well as conducting skills enhancement initiatives in the Office suite. You will work closely with program leaders and industry professionals to ensure that the courses are industry-relevant, current, and clearly linked to the needs of the labor market.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university degree in communication, pedagogy, or another area deemed relevant for the position
• has excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• has good pedagogical skills
• can adapt teaching to different programs and industries
• enjoys teaching adult students in a vocational education environment
• has good knowledge of the Office suite

It is advantageous if you:

• have work experience from industry, technology, communication, international environments, or other professional fields
• have experience in technical documentation, report writing, or professional communication
• have previously worked with or taught in higher vocational education or adult education
