We are now looking for a special education teacher for Nyeds School.

Our student health work is strong, structured, and early – built in close collaboration between teachers, student health, and school management.

With us, you will primarily teach students who need special support or special education. You will work both individually, in smaller groups, and sometimes in the classroom together with the teaching teacher, depending on the student's needs.

Responsibilities

As a special education teacher with us, you make a real difference. You plan and implement teaching based on each student's needs and closely follow their development – in whole classes, smaller groups, and individually.

You are a central part of the student health team and collaborate closely with teachers, mentors, and other professionals to create accessible, safe, and language- and knowledge-developing learning environments.

Your role includes mapping, documentation, and support measures for students who need adjustments or special support. If necessary, you guide colleagues, but teaching is always your main task.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed special education teacher. You start from the premise that students learn in different ways – and see it as a strength in your work to meet students' needs.

You are secure and engaged, and quickly build good relationships with students through a present and attentive approach. You build trust and a conducive working environment through clear structures and predictable methods in teaching.

You have integrity and professionalism in your assessments and stand firm even when situations become complex. At the same time, you are a team player with strong collaborative skills – you actively seek dialogue, share your expertise, and thrive in close collaboration with teachers and student health professionals.

Together, you and your colleagues create solutions that give more students the opportunity to succeed.
