About the position

Arvika municipality is looking for an engaged and secure employee who wants to work as pedagogical and medical support for students at Minneberg School.

Together with the teaching staff, you will prepare and adjust the school day based on the student's needs. In addition to providing support to individual students, you will also serve as a pedagogical resource for larger student groups and collaborate with teams within the school. You will also be part of the school's medical team to coordinate the medical support for the school's students.

Responsibilities

• Provide pedagogical and medical support to students throughout the school day.
• Prepare and adjust teaching situations together with the teaching staff.
• Be a pedagogical resource in groups and contribute to a safe, clear, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with other educators and teams regarding students' development and needs.
• Participate in the school's medical team and contribute to planning and coordination of medical support.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a strong ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are attentive, patient, and have a solution-focused approach to work. You find it easy to collaborate, are flexible in your pedagogy, and have a strong commitment to each student's development. Your security and clarity make students feel seen and motivated.

You have completed the care and nursing program or have another education equivalent to a nursing assistant qualification. It is also an advantage if you have experience working in care and nursing or have previously worked in an educational setting.

The position is a temporary position, meaning you work when the operation is running and are off during longer breaks, e.g., holidays.
