Description

We are looking for someone who wants to engage in guiding people through the choices that shape their future. The role involves an inspiring combination of student-centered work and close collaboration with colleagues across all municipal operations. You will be an important resource providing both young people and adults with the right conditions to make well-informed decisions. Your base will be at Forsnässkolan (grades 4–9), but the assignment also extends to other parts of the municipality.

Responsibilities

The assignment includes study and career guidance within primary school, secondary school, and adult education. The role is a natural part of the student health team, where a common focus is on the best interests of the students.

About half of the position is focused on the overall assignment as the municipality's study and career counselor, which also includes follow-up within the municipal activity responsibility (KAA), Swedish for immigrants (SFI), secondary school, and adapted secondary school. This is a role that requires both good structure and the ability to meet each individual based on their specific situation.

Qualifications

The role requires education as a study and career counselor or solid experience in guiding people in their study and career choices. The assignment requires good listening skills and an aptitude for building trusting relationships. The work requires independence, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach combined with a strong commitment to people's development.

The ability to collaborate in teams and operate in various collaborative forms is central, as well as good communication skills in both spoken and written form. The work is conducted in a structured and goal-oriented manner to contribute to students' achievement of goals and individuals' development.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Before employment, a valid extract from the Police's criminal record is required, as the work involves contact with children and young people.
