We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys challenges and varied tasks.
Due to an increased number of students, we are now seeking six school resources.
The adapted primary school with a focus on subjects and subject areas is located under the northern principal area. The school is structured with three classes focused on subjects: 1–3, 4–6, and 7–9, located at Stenstalidskolan. The subject area focus is in the premises of Hacklehemsskolan and is divided into four teaching groups. Here, students study five different subject areas: aesthetic activities, communication, motor skills, daily activities, and perception of reality. Each class has a teacher and several school resources.
The school has two after-school centers, one for students up to 11 years old and the other for students up to 13 years old. We also provide short-term supervision for older students up to 21 years old before and after school hours. The schoolyard is spacious and close to both forests and playgrounds.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a school resource, you will work to support our students during their schooling and after-school activities/short-term supervision. You will support and help students manage various situations, both in their personal development and in their knowledge development. Examples of situations may occur during after-school activities, teaching, hygiene, and meal situations. The work is varied, and no day is the same.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma, and we prefer that you are trained as a leisure leader, nursing assistant, or have other pedagogical education.
Since many of our students have multiple disabilities, it is an advantage if you have experience with:
- ACC (alternative and augmentative communication) or TACC (sign language as alternative and augmentative communication)
- Care and nursing work
Personal Competencies
We are looking for a confident and mature person who can meet students with different needs in a professional and respectful manner. You are stable in your approach and contribute to a calm and safe learning environment, while also being flexible and able to adapt to the students' individual circumstances and the school's daily routine.
You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working closely with teachers, colleagues, and student health services. With your pedagogical insight and service-oriented approach, you contribute to supporting students' learning and development positively.
You are clear in your interactions and communication, which creates structure, predictability, and safety for the students.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment.
