Värmskog School and Preschool consists of a preschool with two departments accommodating approximately 29 children aged 1-5 years, an after-school program for the school's students, and a primary school from preschool class to grade 6. The entire operation is located on the same premises, making collaboration and shared use of facilities a significant advantage. We have our own school kitchen where meals are prepared from scratch with the aim of using Swedish and locally produced ingredients.

We are now in need of a preschool teacher and are looking for someone who is a responsible and present individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues.

The role of the preschool teacher involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the activities together with the team and individually. You will be involved in helping children develop skills in creativity, creation, and interaction with others. The position we offer is a temporary contract with immediate start. Before you are offered employment at Värmskog Preschool, you must provide a police clearance certificate according to the Education Act 2 chapter 31§. As a preschool teacher, you will be part of a team that creates good conditions for education at the preschool. You will be involved in and lead processes in the preschool. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that your work aligns with the responsibilities outlined in the preschool curriculum Lpfö-18. You will work with goal-oriented processes aimed at care, development, and learning, while upholding the preschool's values and mission. You will plan, document, and evaluate education together with the team based on individual and group needs, adapting to the children's varying requirements.

The school and preschool are located in Värmskog right by the shore of Lake Värmeln and the famous Värmskog café. There is proximity to forests, swimming opportunities, and the school has a craft room, sports hall, and new conference rooms. Värmskog is a village with a strong belief in the future, focusing on development for its citizens, and the school and preschool are the hub of the entire community.

The operation is characterized by care, consideration, and warmth, where we see each child. Students and children support each other regardless of age and show great care and tolerance for one another. This positive atmosphere is also reflected in several engaged teams consisting of about 22 people plus a student health team.

We are looking for you who are a qualified preschool teacher with a license. You are prepared to lead, plan, and implement educational work both individually and in groups. You have good collaboration skills and can build trust. You are flexible and easily establish good relationships with children, guardians, and the team. The position is full-time until 260412 and then intended to be 75% from 260413-260705.
