Job Responsibilities

You will function as study support and be able to guide students in Sfi.

You should also be able to serve as a resource in the classroom with the regular teacher as needed. Your workday will be varied in terms of tasks and will largely be governed by the needs of the students and teachers.

Support and guide students as needed, individually or in smaller groups. Support can take place in the classroom during lesson time or as agreed at times outside the student's regular lesson time. We also see that you assist in the introductory group for new students.

Qualifications

• Swedish/Swedish as a second language, at least basic level
• Education in pedagogy
• You should have experience working with people whose native language is not Swedish and experience in supportive language development.
• Experience in documentation.
• General digital competence.

Meritorious

• Education focused on language development and/or second language acquisition.
• Education in integration/migration work
• Education in conversation methodology, supervision, or coaching
• We wish that you have experience working with adults whose native language is not Swedish. In your previous assignments, you have worked both independently and together with colleagues.
• Knowledge of the Google environment.

We are looking for someone who is proactive and flexible, with a solid foundation and good ability to collaborate with others. You easily create and develop relationships, show cultural awareness, and have pedagogical insight into how people learn and communicate. You are creative in your working methods and possess strong linguistic and analytical skills that help you adapt and convey messages clearly and engagingly.
