We have about 350 colleagues in the Department of Children and Education who work within four school areas with children and students aged 1-16 years. We work to ensure that all children and young people have a good learning environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to achieve good results. Welcome to one of our four school areas: Lärcenter, Skived, Ullerud, and Grossbol.

Description

Do you want to work as a preschool teacher and help create fun, safe, and educational days for our children in preschool? Together with a wonderful team of skilled educators, you now have the chance to apply to us in Grossbol.

The Grossbol preschool area consists of Gullvivans Preschool and Stackens Preschool.

The preschools offer an operation where care, development, and learning form a whole. Play is a central part of the operation and forms the basis for children's development, learning, and well-being. Through play, children have the opportunity to fantasize, imitate, and process their impressions, while their imagination, communication, collaboration skills, and problem-solving abilities are stimulated.

Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you as a preschool teacher are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and developing the educational work based on the preschool's curriculum.

In your work, you start from the learning, exploring, curious, and unique child who has their own voice, knowledge, and abilities.

An important part of your daily work is to inspire children to discover, explore, and learn on their own, as well as to make both children, guardians, and colleagues feel involved and joyful in the education.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or have other relevant education. We seek someone who believes that children's curiosity and interests are the foundation for preschool education and teaching. Likewise, we are looking for someone who works for an equitable preschool where all children have good conditions to grow and develop in an accessible, fun, safe, and educational environment.

As a person, you are an engaged and present/researching individual. You should find it easy to collaborate with children, guardians, and colleagues. You should be well acquainted with our governing documents and be able to apply them in practice. In your view of children, you believe in the competent child, which is reflected in your approach in everyday life.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment of about five months.
