We are looking for a teacher in physical education and health for Östra School.

The school is part of the Solbacka school area, which consists of three schools: Östra School, Lysvik School, and Prästbol School. Approximately 470 students attend the school area. In the municipality's schools, we work for inclusive teaching of high quality. Through clear pedagogical relational leadership, we aim to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment with variety and challenges. The Solbacka school area is multicultural, and we work with language and knowledge-developing methods. Our schools constantly focus on value-based work, which is a natural part of our daily work. Responsibilities:

As a teacher in physical education and health, you will plan and prepare your teaching and be part of both a work team and a subject team together with other teachers at the school. With us, you will become part of a collegium where we are happy to share our knowledge and experiences.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher in physical education and health for grades 1-6, and it is advantageous if you have experience working in schools. You have a holistic view, interest, and commitment to the entire student's development, are flexible, and have the ability to adapt and teach in a differentiated manner. You are flexible, solution-focused, calm, and stable, and have great patience and the ability to wait for the student according to their conditions and needs. We place great importance on personal suitability for the position.

Conditions:

Before employment can occur, a valid extract from the police criminal record must be presented. The position is a temporary position starting from 2026-04-01 and lasting until 2027-06-30 or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. A valid B driver's license is a requirement. The employment rate is 100%.
