Rudsskolan is a secondary school for students in grades 7 to 9, with approximately 540 students. We strive for every student to feel safe and achieve high goals. Responsibilities

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful assignment where you make a difference in the students' everyday lives. You provide educational and social support during the school day – in the classroom, during breaks, during transitions, and in other contexts where your presence creates safety and structure.

In this role, you will support a student in both teaching, social interactions, and collaborate closely with teachers and other staff at the school to create a safe, accessible, and stimulating learning environment based on the student's needs.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained teaching assistant or has experience that the employer deems equivalent.

As a person, you find it easy to build good relationships and create safety with both students and colleagues. You need to be flexible, able to quickly switch between different tasks. You need to be attentive to the student's daily condition and needs, and can adjust your approach accordingly. Your communication skills allow you to clearly explain tasks, calm in stressful situations, and collaborate with both colleagues and guardians.

The work can sometimes be both physically and mentally demanding, and it is important that you have the ability to remain calm, create structure, and build trusting relationships. At the same time, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the students' everyday lives – a role that both challenges and gives back a lot.
