Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet is one of Sweden's largest, newest, and most modern high schools with 2000 students and 250 staff.

As a teacher at Sundsta-Älvkullegymnasiet, you will be part of a team, and all teachers also meet regularly in subject conferences. Collaborating, sharing experiences, and learning from each other is very important for developing our operations. The work on implementing the new subject grading reform (Gy25) has been ongoing for several years and will continue in the coming school years.

Responsibilities

Are you interested in teaching high school students? Do you want to be part of our team with our fantastic students and teachers? In the natural science program, you are never alone with challenges and questions. The openness between teachers is great, and we have a shared responsibility for all students to succeed.

You will teach mathematics and physics, guide students in their graduation projects, and provide support for students who need extra help in your subjects. Your role as a teacher also includes mentorship as an important part of the school's work, to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a teaching license in mathematics and physics. You enjoy working collaboratively in both teams and with subject colleagues. You have the ability to meet, motivate, and develop others based on different conditions and have a strong understanding of the intentions of the subject grading reform (GY25).

You find it easy to collaborate, are flexible, and used to problem-solving. You enjoy working both independently and in groups. You treat students and colleagues with good ethics and sound values. To succeed in the role, you are clear and good at creating and maintaining good relationships. You differentiate your teaching and use varied and appropriate assessment situations.

You are well-versed in the school's knowledge and value foundation mission. You are curious and like to try new things while also appreciating order and structure. You are comfortable with modern school digital technology and are willing to try new working methods and approaches.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
