Description

Would you like to help build our new Social Pedagogue education at Forshaga University College? In the fall of 2026, we at Forshaga University College will launch two programs focusing on Social Pedagogy.

The programs are two years long, with one conducted on-site at Forshaga Learning Center and the other conducted remotely with in-person meetings during the course.

We are now looking for you who want to join us on this journey!

As an employee with us, you will help build, develop, and implement a new program with a clear connection to the needs of the labor market.

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

  • Teaching courses in the program
  • Planning, implementation, follow-up, and development of the program
  • Assessment and grading
  • Some responsibility for and participation in the program's management group
  • Responsibility for LIA (learning in work). This includes procurement and quality assurance of LIA placements, collaboration and development of contacts with the labor market and businesses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of LIA courses, as well as establishing examination components

You will be part of a team working together on different parts of the program. The work is done in collaboration with external actors, and the workload may vary over time. Therefore, it is important that you can structure your work and prioritize your tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with one of the following:

  • University education in social work, such as a degree in social work or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have documented professional experience in the social field.
  • At least four years of documented and broad professional experience in the social field in the last ten years.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Education in pedagogy, such as vocational teacher training
  • Collaborated with external actors and the labor market

Since one of the programs is remote, good experience with digital tools is required.

Personal Qualities

To thrive in this role, we see that you are secure in your professional role, unpretentious, and have good collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a team and actively contribute to an open and solution-focused collaboration.

As this is a new program for us and we are in a building phase, we see that you are flexible, proactive, and have the energy to work broadly where needed. You have a drive and a willingness to take responsibility, think creatively, and help shape the overall experience of the program.

You are curious and positive and are eager to learn from others' knowledge and experiences while generously sharing your own.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Conditions

We are looking for two to three employees with a working percentage of 75-100%, where your workplace will be at Forshaga Learning Center.

Interviews will be conducted continuously throughout the process, so do not hesitate to apply!

Welcome with your application! We would like you to send your application via our recruitment tool on our website. Information on how we handle your personal data can be found here (https://www.forshaga.se/GDPR). If for any reason you cannot apply (e.g., protected identity), please contact the contact person in the ad for an alternative application method. We kindly decline calls from staffing and recruitment companies as well as sellers of job ads.
