Description

Stjärnskolan is a newly built primary school with approximately 300 students.

We offer both regular and adapted primary school along with an after-school program. We are a multicultural school that actively works with values and language development to create a safe, inclusive, and educational environment for all our students.

As a teaching assistant with us, you will provide support to individual students during the school day – both in learning situations and social contexts. You will receive strong support through close collaboration with the responsible teacher. The school management consists of a principal and an assistant principal, and the school has student health services including a counselor, special educator, and school nurse.

Responsibilities

As a teaching assistant, you will:

• Work closely with a student who needs extra support.
• Support teaching according to the teacher's planning.
• Assist during transitions, breaks, and other moments throughout the school day.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained teaching assistant.
• Is calm, clear, and can build good relationships.
• Has the ability to adapt to the student's needs and daily condition.
• Can collaborate well with colleagues.
• Is responsible and confident in your role.

Experience working with children with NPF, language development methods, or experience in schools, after-school programs, or other educational activities is a merit.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term employment for the spring term of 2026.

For this position, a valid extract from the police criminal record is a prerequisite for employment.
