Do you want to make a real difference for students who need extra support during the summer break? The Summer School is a voluntary holiday school program that helps high school students achieve passing grades or strengthen their knowledge in subjects such as Swedish, English, and Mathematics in preparation for the upcoming school year.

As a teacher with us, you will teach, guide, and inspire motivated students in a meaningful and fun learning environment in the summer of 2026. Together with other teachers, you will plan, teach, assess, and grade. Having a teaching license is advantageous, but due to the high demand for educational staff, we also encourage teacher students to apply.

The High School and Adult Education Administration is now looking for several teachers for the Summer School. Don't wait to apply!

Responsibilities

In addition to teaching, you will also plan examinations, assess, and grade students. In the first week, you will plan the activities together with other teachers, and in the final week, you will contribute to the evaluation of the program.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a teacher, studying to become a teacher, or have other educational qualifications deemed suitable. It is advantageous to be qualified and licensed in the subject you will be teaching. Experience working in previous summer schools is a merit but not a requirement. You who apply for the position have an interest in working with youth. The ability to create good relationships and provide a positive reception is seen as a prerequisite. Administering, planning, and driving projects in collaboration with others is a highly valued trait. The work requires that you can work both independently and in a group, are communicative, pedagogical, and have an easy time collaborating in various contexts.

The positions offer everything from hours to full-time work over five weeks, depending on the nature of the position, from June 7 to July 8.
