Description

Stodeneskolan is now looking for a teacher in textile crafts.

Stodeneskolan (https://karlstad.se/forskola-skola-och-utbildning/grundskola/grundskolor/stodeneskolan) has approximately 360 students, from preschool class to grade 6. The school is located in the Stodenes residential area near Stodenesjön and several green areas and other spaces that provide good opportunities for varied outdoor activities.

Responsibilities

As a crafts teacher, you will, independently and together with colleagues, lead and take responsibility for the pedagogical work in the organization based on the curriculum's assignments. With a variety of working methods, forms of expression, and learning environments, you will together create a meaningful day that also takes into account the students' needs, interests, and experiences.

You will collaborate and cooperate with colleagues in the work team so that students have a positive and meaningful day where knowledge development and social development are in focus. You will drive development together with colleagues in the work team and with the school's other staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is qualified and licensed to teach textile crafts for grades 3–6.

You are a secure and stable adult who creates a warm and trusting environment for the children. With a natural ability, you build good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, contributing to a positive and inclusive atmosphere in the organization.

You are positive, curious, and eager to learn, viewing your role with engagement and a desire to develop. As a teacher, you need to reflect on your working methods and actively seek ways to contribute to the quality of the organization, children's development, and learning.

You have good leadership qualities and can lead groups of children with clarity, warmth, and attentiveness.
