Are you ready for an exciting new assignment as a teacher? We at Ölmeskolan are now looking for two dedicated and inspiring teachers for grades 4-6 who want to make a real difference for our students.

The school administration's area of responsibility includes activities for children from one year old up to and including upper secondary education. The activities include open preschool, preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care, upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, cultural school, the municipal activity responsibility, and youth centers.
Ölmeskolan, which is part of the northern school area, is a F-6 school located about ten kilometers west of Kristinehamn. We are a small cozy school close to nature. Together, we work for students' right to a good education, and the staff is the most important resource of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher, you will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching for grades 4-6 based on the current curriculum and syllabus.
Collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues is an important part of the assignment, and you will work together with other educators in the team to ensure that the organization develops so that each student is given the best possible conditions for development and learning. You will be part of a team where you share experiences, skills, ideas, and joy in work.
We also see pedagogical documentation as a natural part of our systematic quality work and our organizational development.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a teacher education and teaching certification with qualifications for grades 4-6, but we also welcome those who are in the final stages of their education. Since language is our primary tool, you need to have good skills in both spoken and written Swedish.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- experience teaching English
- experience working with children in need of special support
- experience working with language and knowledge-developing methods
- knowledge of digital learning platforms
- an interest in IT.
As a teacher with us, you are secure and stable and can handle challenges that occur both inside and outside the classroom. We expect you to have good pedagogical insight, an understanding of how students absorb knowledge, and their different conditions. You adapt your way of conveying messages, inspire learning, and create engagement and participation.
It is important that you have good collaboration skills and build good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians. You have a strong ability to create structure, see opportunities in changes, and consider the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions.
OTHER
If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland and are offered employment, you must be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
