Who am I?

I am a young girl with a disability and I have personal assistance in my daily life. I am now looking for someone to work as a substitute in my team during the spring and for a few weeks in the summer.

As my assistant, you will help me with personal care, transfers, meals, and when I am out on various leisure activities. I have both physical and cognitive difficulties and also epilepsy. I use alternative communication, which is something you will learn together with me and my team.

I live an active and social life and enjoy spending time with friends, listening to music, watching movies, playing games, cycling, exercising at Friskis & Svettis, or doing something else fun. I live centrally in Trollhättan, which makes it easy to get here.

What a day with me might look like:

You will help me with my morning routines and prepare me for the day. After that, we will go to my daily activity center, where you will assist me in the moments I need support. During certain parts of the day, you will work together with a colleague as I have double assistance. Later, we might take a nice walk in the sun (hopefully!) and do something else fun.

Who are you?

I am looking for someone who is reliable and attentive. You do not need to have previous experience with alternative communication - the most important thing is that you are curious and want to learn. Experience as a personal assistant is a plus, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that we enjoy each other's company and that you fit well into the team.

About the position:

This is a part-time position where you will be scheduled for shifts monthly and sometimes with short notice. You choose which shifts you are available to take. The work also includes a few weeks during the summer.
