We work with authority exercise, assessed assistance measures, as well as preventive and advisory measures to reach people early.

Our organization has transitioned to a first-line social service with a single entry point for citizens, which means that all cases are initially handled by a common reception unit. Thereafter, investigations and further measures take place in a second line. This approach aims to make social services more accessible and efficient for everyone in need of support. Collaboration is a central part of our working method as we see the importance of supporting each other to achieve the best possible results for those we are here to serve.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a social worker who will work in the reception. The position involves working with all age groups and target groups within the social services sector. The workgroup receives reports and applications and conducts preliminary assessments. Information and service as well as some administrative tasks are also included. Collaboration with others, both within and outside social services, is central. The assignment includes contributing to the development of new working methods in line with the new social services act.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, but we also see that:

• You have the ability to create and maintain good relationships.
• You have a good ability to understand the varying living conditions of both children and adults and meet them with respect and sensitivity.
• You have a desire to contribute with innovative thinking and method development.
• You have previously worked in municipal social services and have experience and interest in working with our target group.
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing.

For the position in the reception, it is required that you are well acquainted with relevant legislation.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driver's license (B) is a requirement.
