We are looking for an engaged and courageous social worker for our unit for financial support.

Support and Financial Assistance is part of the Competence Center, where the unit works closely with Guidance, Introduction and Work, Adult Education, and Reception and Introduction. In addition to internal collaboration partners, we also have contact with other authorities and organizations, such as healthcare, the Social Insurance Agency, and the Employment Service to achieve progress for the individuals we work with.

Responsibilities

As a social worker in financial support, you will work with:

• Investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to applicable legislation.
• Ensuring a legally secure and equitable handling.
• Motivating and supporting individuals towards self-sufficiency.
• Working solution-focused together with the individual.
• Collaborating with internal and external actors.
• Actively contributing to the development of the organization.

The work requires both structure and empathy. You meet people in various life situations and need to be able to combine clarity with respect and trust in the individual's own ability.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work or another relevant higher education.
• Has experience in public authority work, preferably in financial assistance.
• Has good knowledge of current legislation.
• Is confident in your professional role and can make independent decisions.
• Is a team player who contributes to a good work environment.
• Has the courage to think outside the box and a desire to develop working methods.
