We are now looking for a personal assistant for a female client in Trollhättan. The position is 72%. The regular schedule is 48%, and in addition, there is currently a temporary position of 24%, which allows us to offer a larger role. At this time, we do not know how long the need for the temporary position will last, but information about this will be communicated in the future.

The client is active and enjoys various activities in her free time. A requirement is that you are a good swimmer as the swimming pool is visited several days a week.

We are looking for someone who is responsible and has a strong work ethic. You should be flexible, cheerful, positive, and work well in a team that constantly strives to provide the client with the best possible quality of life. During the day, we always work in pairs, so there are high demands for good collaboration skills.

The working hours are scheduled from 07:30-19:00, 08:30-20:10, and 20:00-07:35, where you will work on a rotating schedule with two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts. It is important that you can work all hours of the day, including awake nights.

Your assignment The client has extensive care needs, and you will work with mobility assistance, personal hygiene, and personal care. For the client's health, it is important that you do not smoke during working hours. Working as a personal assistant means assisting the individual client and being their extended arms and legs, meaning you help the client with what they cannot do themselves. This can involve helping with everything from personal care, hygiene, and household chores to accompanying them on various activities and outings.

Your purpose is to support and facilitate the client's everyday life, thereby creating a meaningful existence. The working hours are adapted to the user's needs and decisions, so it is important that you are willing to work days and evenings, weekends, and awake nights.

Your background We prefer that you have experience working as a personal assistant. To succeed in the job, you need to be in good physical shape as you will need to be able to push/drive a wheelchair and perform various transfers. In addition, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge of brain injuries and epilepsy. As a person, you are empathetic and can quickly understand someone else's perspective or situation. Furthermore, you should be flexible and able to see opportunities in potential changes. It is important that you remain calm and composed in various situations that may arise and have the ability to focus on the right things.
