About the job

We are now looking for a leisure leader with a focus on culture for Ung i Lidköping.

This can be theater, film, music, dance, or art. The youth activities should work to provide young people with opportunities to experience community, influence, and take responsibility to contribute to their well-being, quality of life, and personal development.

Job Responsibilities

The assignment primarily involves working at our meeting places where you, together with fantastic colleagues, will create conditions for young people to have a meaningful leisure time. The meeting places are Brukets youth center, Margretelund's youth center, and Café Iris. We would like you to be involved and develop cultural activities at our meeting places, both trial and group activities. You will also be part of our mobile and outreach activities, where we work with projects, events, and school visits, among others.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has a leisure leader education, social pedagogy education, or other education that the employer considers suitable. Preferably with an artistic or cultural education as a complement.

In the role of leisure leader, you are required to:

• be calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others.
• be secure in your values and ethical positions and can convey that to the youth.
• enjoy working in a team, listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively.
• be flexible and able to quickly change perspectives and approaches.
• have artistic competence, such as dance, theater, film, art, and music, etc.

We place great emphasis on engagement and personal qualities.

A manual driving license is required.

Conditions

Temporary position with a workload of 100%. Start date 2026-05-01 or by agreement. 6 months with a chance of extension.

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend.
