Digitalization Coordinator at Karlsborg Social Services

Workplace

The Social Services in Karlsborg is responsible for elderly care, care for people with disabilities, municipal health care, and individual and family care. The department has about 250 employees who together work to provide high-quality support and services to the residents of the municipality.

You will be organizationally part of the social office's workgroup with the social manager as your closest supervisor, but a large part of your work will take place in the operations. Not least at Haganäset Nursing Home, the department's largest workplace where many different functions are gathered.

Job Responsibilities

The Social Services actively work with digitalization to meet today's and tomorrow's needs within welfare technology. As a digitalization coordinator, you will be an important part of the work to promote, facilitate, and develop the use of digital solutions in our operations.

Your role includes providing support, training, and user assistance to the department's employees in welfare technology, as well as being involved in the implementation of new digital solutions. You will have close cooperation with the social services' IT strategist.

The position is a combined role where you also work 50 percent as a senior coach. In this role, you work preventively with the elderly on issues such as involuntary loneliness, municipal information, digital technology, and wellness. The work is done in close collaboration with several of the municipality's departments, especially in connection with the implementation of the new social services act.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant IT education, preferably with a focus on digital welfare technology. Experience from the social sector is an advantage.

As a person, you are pedagogical, responsible, and structured. You find it easy to meet people in different situations and thrive in a role where you can support, inspire, and develop working methods together with others. You are also good at planning, taking initiative, and driving the work forward.
