Do you want to make a difference in someone's daily life while enjoying a varied and meaningful job? We are now looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for an active girl in Linnéstaden, Gothenburg.

About Me

I am a social, active, and cheerful 26-year-old girl living with my parents in Linnéstaden, central Gothenburg. Due to my disability, Rett syndrome, I require extensive support in my daily life. I use a wheelchair and need help with most practical tasks - from personal care to communication and leisure activities.

Since I lack verbal speech, I communicate with the help of interpretation from you as an assistant, and sometimes with the help of an eye-controlled communication tool called PODD. I enjoy when things happen! Some of my interests include horseback riding, music, movies, and having coffee in the city.

About the Job

The position involves working extra as needed, which means you will be booked for work on a weekly basis. The working hours are scheduled for both weekdays and weekends, day and evening shifts, but no night shifts.

Examples of working hours: weekdays 07:00-17:00 or 13:00-20:30, 16-21. Weekends: approx. 10:00-18:00

This job is suitable for you who:

• Are responsible, curious, and enjoy being active
• Are likely studying and looking for a meaningful part-time job alongside your studies
• Are open to learning alternative communication methods - experience with PODD is a plus but not a requirement
• Are not afraid of or allergic to horses (some shifts take place at a riding school)

You do not need previous experience as a personal assistant - the most important thing is that you have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing support based on my needs and interests.
