At the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, we are now looking for system developers with experience in requirements analysis who want to take full responsibility – from idea to finished solution.

Requirements Analysis, Development, Documentation

The role includes responsibility for requirements analysis. You act as the link between the organization and the development team and contribute to creating a common understanding of needs and solutions. You create understanding of the requirements within the team and work closely with both the product owner and scrum master. You are involved in the entire development process – from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and maintenance. A central focus of the role is to ensure that the agency's caseworkers have effective, usable, and legally secure IT support that enables good service to citizens.

We work in agile, cross-functional teams with a strong sense of ownership and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Collaboration, quality, and good user experience are central parts of our work. We value your willingness to develop and contribute to improving the IT support that the agency's caseworkers use in their daily work.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work with requirements analysis in close collaboration with the organization
  • Identify and document needs, user interfaces, rules, concepts, and non-functional requirements
  • Manage dependencies with other systems and stakeholders
  • Ensure that the requirements are clear, prioritized, and understood within the team
  • Together with the product owner and scrum master, keep the backlog updated and ready for sprint planning.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
  • has a systematic and meticulous working method
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has good communication skills, both spoken and written
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have experience in

  • agile working methods
  • working in a large IT organization
  • working within the public sector.

Other Information

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required. Remote work is possible if the job allows. In this recruitment, psychological tests may be used as part of the selection process. Place of employment: Sundsvall. Other locations may be possible.
