Your contribution as an Object Specialist/System Administrator

As an Object Specialist/System Administrator, you support the organization's use of various systems and ensure that they function effectively in daily work, in close collaboration with the object leader, suppliers, and the organization. Together with other object specialists and system administrators, you work on needs-based development work and prioritized activities. The work initially involves maintaining current system support and methods, but within a few years, the organization will need to procure all operational systems, and you will have a very important role where you can contribute with requirements specification, operational perspective, and technical understanding throughout the process from needs analysis to implementation. You will also have a strong collaboration with the municipality's IT unit on issues related to technology, security, and integration, to ensure that the systems operate within the framework of the municipality's common IT environment.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in IT, systems science, business development, project management, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have experience in IT, system management, or similar that the employer considers relevant.

We see it as meritorious to have:

  • strongly meritorious experience as an object specialist or system administrator
  • education in project management or experience in project management with close collaboration with operations, IT, and suppliers.
  • good technical understanding of how operational systems work in practice, including how different systems and integrations interact.

As a person, you easily build trusting relationships and contribute to an open and constructive collaboration. You enjoy working closely with operations, suppliers, and IT. You plan and prioritize your work and ensure good documentation and follow-up. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and see opportunities in change. You adapt to new conditions and drive work forward in a structured and responsible manner.
