Your Contribution as a System Administrator

We are looking for someone who, together with motivated and competent colleagues, wants to work climate-smart and contribute to the development of the Sundsvall region. You will work with the operation, management, and development of the organization's IT systems.

As a System Administrator, you will also be responsible for:

• ensuring systems operate stably
• ensuring they are used efficiently and support the organization's goals
• creating structure, accessibility, and quality in the company's digital environments
• providing daily user support and long-term improvement/development
• ensuring compliance with the management process
• conducting training in the management process
• following up on user administration of assigned systems
• managing incidents, error reports, and user support
• planning and executing upgrades, tests, and deployments
• ensuring system documentation, procedures, and user manuals are in place
• monitoring licenses, integrations, and data quality

The position reports directly to the Head of Quality and Development and is part of the management structure of the operational area.

The employment is a temporary position running until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Your Skills and Experience

You have relevant education in IT, system science, or equivalent, and experience in system administration as well as operation of business and production systems. You have a good understanding of IT security, integrations, and data quality. It is an advantage if you also have experience in energy, industrial, or process operations and leading projects/activities.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and service-oriented, as well as analytical and solution-oriented. You are cost- and quality-conscious and have a practical understanding of how systems affect operations. Your ability to collaborate is good and contributes to positive relationships.

You can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. A B driver's license is required.
