About the job
We are looking for an IT Security Specialist for the System Management unit. Within the unit, architects, specialists, and system technicians work with various responsibilities to ensure that IT services are delivered according to established agreements, service levels, and regulations, and that deliveries are followed up and developed over time.
As an IT Security Specialist, you will work with cybersecurity and IT security, with a particular focus on IT security for external services. The role also includes working with secure development and IT security issues related to frameworks and standards. The position can be tailored based on experience and is suitable for both those with extensive experience and those who want to develop in the field.
About you
To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to have the following competencies, knowledge, and experience:
Experience and knowledge - requirements
- Experience in cybersecurity and IT security, which can be gained through work or studies
- Experience in IT security for external services, which can be gained through work or studies
- Experience in secure development, which can be gained through work or studies
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity and IT security
- Good knowledge of secure development
- Knowledge of established IT security frameworks and standards, such as the ISO 27000 series, NIST, CIS, and OWASP
- Good skills in Swedish and English
Experience and knowledge - desirable
- Experience in leading and coordinating efforts in IT security
- Experience in designing, implementing, and following up management systems for information security
- Experience in vulnerability monitoring and penetration testing
- Experience in handling logging and monitoring from a security perspective

About Digg
Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that help other public actors in their digitization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to all.
Merger of Digg and PTS
The government has decided to assign Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) to prepare for a merger. The new organization is to be in place by January 1, 2027. The aim is to create a strengthened authority for digitalization issues, for example in areas such as secure and accessible digital infrastructure, data, and AI. The extent of remote work varies among different individuals based on the needs of the business.
