Your Mission

As a unit manager, you belong to a unit within the Technology department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, manages, and implements new technical systems and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

We are looking for someone who will primarily be responsible for leading, planning, and driving the unit regarding operations, personnel, work environment, and budget in accordance with the department's processes and set goals.

Your tasks mainly consist of:

• Recruiting staff
• Further developing effective accountable teams
• Leading in accordance with FRA's leadership policy through the agency's processes and ensuring that the agency's values are upheld
• Developing and motivating your employees and being responsible for competence supply and development to meet today's and tomorrow's demands
• Being responsible for ongoing follow-ups, salary-setting, and coaching employee and development conversations

Your tasks include supporting your Agile DevOps Teams and having technical delivery responsibility for systems and services. You will work operationally with work management and be involved in creating, developing, and maintaining routines and conditions for the delivery of technical solutions. Furthermore, you will capture and represent needs within the organization and participate in business development.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent skills acquired through work experience
• Experience in a role that includes leadership
• Experience in coaching/developing employees/teams
• Good and broad IT knowledge
• Experience in recruiting staff
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge of ITIL
• Completed leadership training
• Experience in agile working methods, such as the SAFE framework
• Worked with efficiency and standardization
• Experience with networks and/or cloud solutions
• Driving license B

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
