Unit Manager for Sanctions and Regulation
Do you have extensive experience in qualified legal work? The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) is now looking for a unit manager who wants to lead the work on sanctions and regulation within the stock market area!
About the Job
As a unit manager, you will lead a group of lawyers and an assistant, focusing on cases regarding interventions in the capital market according to, among other things, the Market Abuse Regulation, as well as cases concerning violations of accounting legal frameworks. The unit also includes staff working in the Markets Confidentiality Group, which is responsible for reviewing requests for public documents. In the role of manager, you will have independent decision-making authority as well as responsibility for ensuring that the preparation of cases is conducted efficiently, legally securely, and purposefully. Within the framework of the unit's work, there is close cooperation with the Market Supervision department and with other units in the Capital Markets Law department. As a unit manager, you will work closely with the head of the legal department and be part of the department's management team. Together with the department head and other unit managers, you will participate in planning the department's activities.
The unit is expected to handle a large number of intervention and sanction processes as well as several regulatory projects, which requires efficient processes and good expertise in the areas of responsibility within the unit, as well as administrative law. The unit also needs to have expertise in confidentiality legislation. In your role as a manager, you will lead, support, and create favorable conditions for your employees' results and development, among other things through clear goals and ongoing follow-up.
You will develop the operations strategically and long-term based on FI's overarching goals and work for the whole and cooperation across operational boundaries. We expect you to have a strong interest in leadership issues and to develop in your role as a leader. We offer you leadership training to provide you with the conditions to succeed in your leadership.
