Here you will have significant responsibility for both progress and results in the area, from operational production to strategic initiatives. The role is central to ensuring effective governance, coordination, and development, while also leading the staff as a separate entity and directly contributing to the organization's ability to build a stronger defense.
About the Position
As Chief of Staff for Army Materiel, you will have a central and strategically important role in ensuring the area’s ability to deliver in a complex and dynamic environment where progress and results are crucial. The staff is tasked with supporting the head of the operational area in executing decisions made, following up on governance, and developing and ensuring governing documents and action rules for the own operations. The role also includes monitoring production within the producing departments, coordinating finances, resources, and personnel issues, as well as ensuring effective and cohesive administration. You will serve as the formal point of contact with other parts of the organization and represent the operational area in internal matters.

As a leader, you create conditions and support your employees in their work to be a cohesive function for risk management, security protection, preparedness, and supply security. Through your leadership, you foster participation and engagement, actively contribute to the management team's work, and ensure that resources and competencies are used optimally to deliver high-quality results in a complex and demanding operation.
