About the position

As Unit Manager IT Delivery Control at Svenska kraftnät, you will lead both strategically and operationally in steering IT deliveries, building clear structures, driving improvements, and creating conditions for effective development in a critical and growing IT organization.

The unit is tasked with developing and managing the IT division's governance to support Svenska kraftnät's long-term goals while being flexible enough to meet both existing and new needs. Together, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a new delivery control model for the IT operations and establishing methods and working practices for development planning and delivery follow-up, in collaboration with other units and departments within IT.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead the unit and contribute to the department's and IT division's business development, planning, and follow-up.
• Drive large parts of the division's strategic shift, either alone or together with your team members.
• Sometimes act as a change leader in collaboration with others and actively contribute to developing more efficient working methods.
• Inspire the team and create motivation among others to work towards common goals.
• Have personnel and budget responsibility as well as responsibility for recruitment and consultant procurement.

IT Delivery Control belongs to the IT Strategy and Governance department within the IT Division. The unit consists of ten senior employees and consultants in self-managing teams that work integrated throughout the IT operations – and the unit will grow. You report to the head of the Strategy and Governance department and are part of the management team of the IT Strategy and Governance department.

About you

Required qualifications

As a person, you have an analytical approach and can see both details and the big picture, always with the organization's best interests in mind. You have a relevant higher education/university degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät assesses as equivalent. You also have:

• Several years of relevant and current experience in a managerial role that includes personnel and budget responsibility within IT-related operations (experience within the last ten years)
• Relevant experience of having driven, or been responsible for driving, larger development and change projects in a complex organization
• Solid background in operational governance models;
• Development and delivery control (e.g., PPS, in a PMO or as a portfolio manager)
• Management governance (e.g., PM3 or ITIL)
• IT governance
• Experience with agile frameworks
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it an advantage if you have experience in delivery control and follow-up in an IT operation.
