About WaterTech
WaterTech's overall business idea is to deliver chemical and technical products to optimize industrial process water systems. Additionally, there is a significant service business. The products are designed to ensure high efficiency, availability, safe operation, and environmental benefits, such as water savings. The products are primarily sold in Sweden and to some extent in Norway.
WaterTech was founded in 1998 and has been owned by Sdiptech AB since April 2024. Sdiptech is a Swedish technology group focused on infrastructure that acquires and develops companies aimed at creating more sustainable, efficient, and safe communities. Sdiptech is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. Product development and manufacturing largely take place within the group's cluster of water companies with the same or similar specialization. Here, project collaborations, knowledge transfer, and team building also occur.
Offices and warehouses are located in Täby.
About the position
As the CEO of WaterTech, you will have a key role in leading and further developing the company on our continued growth journey. With an inspiring and inclusive leadership style, you will create engagement within the organization and drive the business forward, both strategically and operationally.
You will actively work to develop the business by strengthening and broadening our product portfolio, building long-term customer relationships, and further developing collaborations with partners and suppliers. A central part of the role is to formulate, anchor, and drive the company's sales strategy with a clear commercial focus.
The role involves a significant element of sales and business development, where you will have ongoing contact with customers, partners, and suppliers both in Sweden and across Europe.
You will have personnel responsibility for an organization consisting of five employees in Täby and be responsible for recruitment and team development, with the goal of building a continued strong and stable operation. You will also work with ongoing monitoring of results, KPIs, and operational goals to ensure progress and development.
Who are you?
You are a business-oriented and engaged leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where the pace is high and the opportunity to influence is great. With a clear commercial focus, you are driven by creating profitable growth and developing both the business and sales.
You combine a strategic holistic perspective with an operational drive and are confident in leading the organization forward. Through your communicative and inclusive leadership, you create engagement, direction, and a shared focus on long-term results. You find it easy to build relationships and gather people around common goals, both internally and externally.
We see that you have solid experience in technical sales to industrial customers and have previously led a profit center with responsibility for business and development. You have an academic degree from a university or college and are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
If you also have experience in selling water chemicals or filtration systems, it is an advantage, as is technical understanding or an engineering background.
As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and motivated by building success together with others.
