We are looking for a manager with global awareness

We are currently seeking a manager who wants to work in a dynamic environment responsible for functions that support the organization with, among other things, situation monitoring, liaison services, expedition, and archive services.

Main responsibilities

You have overall responsibility for the unit's areas of operation that support the organization with situation monitoring, expedition and archive services, liaison services, and coordination of various issues. In the position, you will make priorities with a holistic view of the operations. You have personnel responsibility for section managers who lead and distribute work in their respective sections.

Based on the established budget, assigned personnel frameworks, and overall governance such as strategy and established plans, you exercise employer responsibility for the function and are responsible for achieving established goals.

Qualifications

  • Academic education
  • Experience and ability to lead, motivate, and create results through others
  • Experience in a managerial position at another authority or organization
  • Very good ability to express oneself in speech and writing

Desirable qualifications

  • Experience of management group and staff work and/or functional leadership
  • Experience of indirect leadership
  • Experience in contingency planning and/or situation and crisis management
  • Experience in inter-agency collaboration
  • Experience working in a situation center or equivalent
  • Good language skills in English

Personal qualities

As a person, we see that you have integrity and a high degree of personal maturity as well as good judgment. You have good collaboration skills and find it easy to create engagement and participation. You are clear, well-articulated, and engaged in both small and large contexts. It is also of great importance that you think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues.

Employment type: Permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period.

Start date: By agreement. Work location: Stockholm. Swedish citizenship is required.
