As a payroll administrator at NYB, you will be responsible for the entire payroll process and serve as an important point of contact between employees, HR, finance, and external suppliers. You ensure that salaries are handled correctly, on time, and in accordance with applicable rules and agreements. The role is suitable for you who are meticulous, customer-oriented, and thrive in a structured administrative function.
Your main responsibilities
Be responsible for monthly and any reconciliations of payroll preparation, including inputting data and running payroll systems
Handle discrepancies such as absence, sick leave, overtime, benefits, and corrections
Prepare and distribute pay slips and respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees
Collaborate with HR and finance to ensure accurate data, reconciliations, and reporting
Manage contact with external suppliers and various authorities as needed
Handle pension-related administration, including reporting to external actors such as Fora and Collectum, and ensuring correct handling of occupational pensions.
Contribute to the development and streamlining of payroll processes and routines
Ensure that payroll management complies with collective agreements, legislation, and the company's internal policies
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is structured, quality-conscious, and has a service-oriented approach. You work independently but also enjoy collaborating in a team to deliver the right results on time.
We would like you to have:
Relevant education in payroll or finance
At least 5 years of experience in payroll administration and good knowledge of laws and agreements related to payroll
Experience working with payroll systems and office tools; experience with personnel or financial systems is a plus
Good ability to communicate in writing and verbally in Swedish
Attention to detail, integrity, and strong analytical skills
Ability to prioritize and handle time-sensitive tasks during month-end closing
Experience from collective agreement industries, preferably within the construction and painting sectors, as well as experience with Hantverksdata or similar business systems is an advantage.
